This is the smile on the face of the tiger. When you are buying a new property  – especially off plan – you need to be more alert than ever. Too often we see situations where the developer has waved a glossy sales brochure in front of the buyer and the buyer takes everything on trust. Good developers are trustworthy. But that is not a prudent approach to purchase of new property. Why take the risk? A useful test is if the developer’s documentation is on a take it or leave it basis, then the likelihood is that the developer is not as interested in providing a high standard of consumer care as he claims.
