Aldeburgh Solicitors Office

The structural columns in Fairweather Stephenson & Co's Aldeburgh office have been made from recycled ships' masts (perhaps salvaged from the beach) and date back at least 100 years. The building, formerly a small hotel with links to smuggling, is the setting of M R James's famous ghost story "A Warning To The Curious."
